This recipe is so easy and fun!  Just start with thoroughly dried flower herbs: For this infusion we are using Chamomile and Calendula dried flowers and some dried rose petals.

Grab a mason jar or two and fill with the dried flowers.

Add carrier oil: Fill to top… wait…fill some more… 🙂

Avocado is my favorite for herbal infusions and Sweet Almond oil for flowers and lighter infusions.

So easy... so pretty... smells so good!

Leave by a sunny window or a warm room for 2-6 weeks! If warmer, leave for less time. If cooler leave for closer to six or even Eight weeks (but not much longer than that). Shake occasionally (more like tilt/mix as the oils are slow moving).

When you strain the oil it should have a sweet, flowery/earthy aromatic aroma!

I use this as a base in many of my favorite skin care creams!
More on those to come. 🙂
